Henry has been active in photography since 1976. Early years
involved all types of photography but in 1987 he became
obsessed with classic era Hollywood cinema and developed a
passion for recreating the glamour of vintage Hollywood style portraiture. He has been
specializing in this kind of photography ever since. In 1999 an
association with Dita Von Teese provided wider
recognition and exposure for his work and the association continues.
Henry is widely skilled in many areas of photography having used the latest
digital equipment as well as old vintage equipment (such as
the Mamiya C220 he is pictured with). This results in a wide pallette of
experience which can be drawn on to produce almost any type
of image desired.

STYLING, MAKEUP AND PHOTOGRAPHIC ASSISTANT |

Tracy works alongside Henry handling make-up,
styling and costume. She also makes sure everything
runs smoothly during a shoot. When she is not working for
Studio Boudoir she deals in vintage clothes, lingerie and
stockings - a sideline that keeps Studio Boudoir's wardrobes
full of choice items. In her spare time she loves dressing up
and taking part as a re-enactor at various local 1940s events. She has also worked
as a wardrobe mistress for several theatrical productions.
The valuable experience gained from these activities will
ensure that should you decide to go for a vintage look you
will get knowledgable and accurate advice and clothing for any
era you may choose to set your pictures in.

Tracy and Henry have been working together on photographic projects since 1989
when they met and discovered a shared love of vintage Hollywood. Together they
make up Studio Boudoir's core staff. However, additional people can be
called in if required. For example should an elaborate hairstyle be needed as part
of your requirements an additional hair stylist could be employed at cost. This
kind of issue will be discussed and explored with you via email or on the phone
when you book a shoot.
