BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY EXTRASSome of these things may or may not be included in boudoir packages - please check your package to see if it includes what you need and if not then the pricing here will apply. Note that once you have shot with us we keep your boudoir photographs securely on file indefinitely and you can order any of these things any time (you don't have to do it within any kind of limited time period).ADDITIONAL PRINTSMost packages include some prints in the price. If you require additional pictures then refer to the following guide:FROM DIGITAL FROM FILM Discounts apply for larger quantities - the above prices are for one off 8x10s. Any size picture can be printed (request pricing). We can also print poster sized prints and frame them for you (enquire about costing). In general we do not recommend digital prints are printed larger then around 30"x20" for best results/quality. However, film images can be printed up to almost any size. We also print on canvas if you desire that - please enquire for pricing.
RETOUCHINGIf you want to purchase an art book or need digital copies of pictures not included as prints or otherwise worked on you may need retouching work done without printing. If so the following prices apply:FROM DIGITAL FROM FILM Our commercial retouching work is regularly used by Dita Von Teese and numerous Playboy models. It has been published in many mainstream magazines and books (including Dita's "Burlesque and the Art of the Teese" book which you can see in any high street bookshop). NOTE that the above prices are for retouching our OWN WORK only. We do not offer bulk retouch services for web sites etc.
WORKING WITH FILMFor the ultimate in quality and vintage feel you can't beat film. Especially medium format (6x7) film. Even in the world of commercial photography and professional fashion 6x7 film still has its place. Not to mention the sheer feel and discipline of using film. We are one of the few photographers still offering film as an option at cost. We feel it is important to maintain this option because although working with digital is much easier and cheaper for the ultimate in vintage feel and accuracy film is still necessary. Unfortunately film requires processing/scanning and has material costs whereas digital does not. Our costs for film work have been simplified to remove the need for individual itemisation. The costs are:£25 per roll of film A roll of film contains 10 pictures at 6x7 format. The cost includes basic scanning for proofing purposes. This is good enough to see which pictures you like. Once chosen the selected pictures are scanned on a professional 4000dpi scanner using 16x multisampling (this takes about an hour per picture). They can then be retouched and printed as per your instructions. The cost of the professional scanning is included in the pricing for additional prints. Film is stored and kept at studioboudoir.com in professional acid free storage albums. Should you require to purchase the actual film outright then please contact us for pricing. NOTE: when working with film it's important you discuss your needs with Henry first. He will suggest and source appropriate film for the look that you are aiming for and be able to give you additional information. COFFEE TABLE ART BOOKIf you are planning on a photo album, do consider this option instead. A good quality album will almost cost you almost as much yet the result from a custom printed book is a lot more impressive! We work with a Japanese printer to allow you to make your photos into a fabulous coffee table art book. This is really the most luxurious way to present your photos. We can show you samples of these books when you come for your session so that you don't have to take our word for it. The printing really is superb. Prices vary depending on the finish and binding you want. There is also a requirement for a minimum of 12 pictures - so if you haven't enough retouched pictures included as part of your shoot you may need to order additional ones to make up the quantity. That said pricing starts at the cheapest end for an A4 sized 12 photo book at £80. This price includes only basic presentation design work - i.e. one photo per page. If you want to have complete control over your design and layout this is possible but contact us for pricing which will depend on what you want to do. IMPORTANT: these are not cheap photo books as sold by many online photo labs. The results are nothing like the low end results from those products. Our printers specialize in high end printing and really the end result surpasses most print quality seen anywhere. But don't take our word for it. Look at the samples when you are here and we think you'll agree!
PHOTO ALBUMSThere are so many choices of photo album and people have such different requirements that it's impossible to second guess what everyone might want. However, we keep a list of suppliers and during the warm up to your shoot we will discuss presentation with you and show you some options. If you describe what you would like we can very likely source whatever you can imagine at cost and quote you for it. Options include albums made from the finest Italian leather to novelty textures such as fur or even textured leatherette! As a courtesy to our customers anyone who has not specified a presentaion option for their prints gets a free low cost office type display album which will provide basic protection for the prints while in transit to you.
DIGITAL COPIES OF PICTURESMost of our packages include a courtesy CD/DVD of all proofs at 600 pixel resolution. Additional copies of the pictures in digital format can be purchased. However the disc can be made for you should you desire it. LICENSE TO USE: You may use these images for any purposes apart from reselling and commercial publishing. The copyright stays with studioboudoir.com (though we have no rights to use the pictures for anything unless agreed with you). If you require to own the pictures outright (because you want to use them for a book or some other commercial purpose) please contact us to discuss costings. You will receive a license to use the pictures with any purchased digital copies of the pictures. If you are in any doubt about anything ask us!
ADDITIONAL NON-STUDIO LOCATIONSThe building where our studio is located contains many other shooting locations that may appeal to your shoot. If you would like to use it in this way we would need to discuss your needs and then an additional charge would be agreed and added. The charge would reflect preparation of the area you want to use and the set up and moving of equipment to that location (lighting, etc). Additional popular possibilities include our long noir-ish corridors and our deco styled lounge area. Contact us for more details and discussion of your needs.
